New Wheels
Got a great deal on a set of wheels from a fellow VW owner.. Minty wheels and fresh tires..
Specs:
Enkei GTC02: 18x8.5+43 with 12mm spacers (net offetset is +31)
Tires: 245/40/18 Michelin PS4
Fitment is really flush. For the next set of tires or wheels, I will definitely do 245/35/18. Good news is torque steer is practically non existent and over ride quality is really smooth!

No issues.. Just a slight fender liner rub when I am the passenger (230lbs) and wife as the driver (110lbs) with full compression. After driving on this set up for a bit, my wife, the owner and primary driver, does not like the floatiness and a bit of bounciness at highway speeds. So we are going to swap the tires out for a 245/35/18 Pilot AS4+ (daily all weather perf tire) which will bring the over diameter back down and closer to OE. However, with spacers and OE wheels (current configuration for some back to back testing) the torque steering rears its head when you accelerate hard with the steering wheel not being centered. So you can imagine her feedback on the highway when driving spiritedly especially to navigate around knuckleheads. The one drastic change with the 245 tires is the elimination of torque steer with the steering wheel at all angles. Will update soon once we get the new tires on.
