Extended Warranties Available?

I’m sorry to say, I don’t know what’s available in the way of extended warrantees for a car with 46K miles. I got one when I bought my GP new from the dealer. The company was “Z Series” and there are several check boxes on the front page. One is a check box for “new/near new” and another one for “used” so maybe there is an option for you.
If so, I highly recommend it. I bought a 96 month 120K policy and have used it enough to more than cover the expense. It covered the replacement of my front struts a few months ago and more importantly, my car is currently in the shop getting a new turbo. I became aware of the turbo problem as I was driving home from work and a check engine light came on for awhile and then went off before I got home. I had 10 miles left on the extended warrantee so, instead of dismissing the temporary warning light, I took it in to the dealer to have them check for codes. I’m so glad I did because there was a code indicating that the turbo was starting to fail. My service advisor called it in and the replacement is being covered. Phew!
