I have got the latest Manic Tune. The car is a monster but the CEL is still showing. I have driven all over hell and back now and it wont go off.

I started reading other threads which people are having the same problem but no solution is given. Is there a way to get the damn thing to shut off? I have to inspect my car and I do not want to have to put the stock down pipe back on to do that.

 

Have the codes read.

 

I can read and reset the codes. I had one for misfire, EGR, and for the cat. I have hard reset it again and will wait to see if it comes back. I have gon 60 miles with no CEL yet.

 

What manic tune do you have?
I believe 2+ eliminates the catless CEL errors.
Code will return in some 10 miles and CEL shortly thereafter without proper tune.
Double check with your Manic dealer or Nick

 

Also when was the last time u had the valves cleaned.
Misfire codes w/o really feeling or sensing a misfire is a good indicator that the valves are dirty. BTW we have no EGR on these cars.
