Tool Kit Compartment Rattle (Not the Tools)

I was wondering if any other GP2 owner has a fairly annoying rattle present in the boot, coming from the Tool Kit Compartment (the big foam piece under the folding tray cover, #1 in link). I can replicate the noise if I lift the cover, then grab the foam and start jostling it around. It sounds like the foam piece should be taped on the bottom or secured, but I'm not sure this would cure the rattle. Don't really want to take it to a dealer because cars never rattle at the dealer. Any ideas on a fix?

I guess that's what I am hearing... I couldn't find the source of the noise but it sounds like it's coming from the tool kit area. How do I fix the noise? It doesn't happen all the time but when it does, it's very annoying.

Some owners have reported rattling from the red cargo bar as well. May be worth checking if that is the source.

I have a rattle from time to time that's actually the trunk latch.

Had it replaced once, it's improved, but still present every once in a while. I'm waiting for winter to pass before getting it taken care of again.

I get a rattle from the rear cargo area when empty - nothing when I have stuff in the back - seems its the cover over the tool kit - going to try velcro and see if that helps. You may want to check that area also.
