need quick help Factory Sus Settings

Hello. sorry for the "quick" part. My car is at a non-mini shop and I really could use the factory ride height - even just measure the height of yours would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone happens to know alignment specs that would be awesome. PO played with the coil overs and I would like to get back to factory baseline. Local dealer not much help. Thank you, david

If you look in the special GP user manual that comes with the car it gives you instructions on how to set up the "stock" ride height.

There is a little measuring spacer (10mm) provided in the tool kit with the coilover spanners. For the front there is a little metal ridge sticking out the back of the coilovers. At absolute minimum ride height possible the base of the adjustable collar sits on the top of this ridge. "Street" ride height is 10mm higher. You are supposed to adjust it so there is just enough height to slip the special measuring spacer between the top of the ridge and the base of the collar. For the rear the spacer sits between the base of the adjustable thread and the collar.

It sounds complicated, but look at the pictures in the manual, and then at the back of the coilovers, and it is pretty easy to work out. The manual is actually pretty funny in a germanic way, it points out that going lower than this is for the racetrack only, and warns the car "may be prone to excessive acceleration inputs"

Alternatively, measure the height from the bottom lip of the rim to the bottom of the plastic wheel guard. Stock height is roughly 585mm front and 595mm rear from memory. Fully lowered is 565mm front and rear. This is a little variable though, not an overly accurate measurement
