Whilst obviously not a performance enhancement, as #0495 is our family daily driver too, additional carrying capacity is a utility performance enhancement!

Does anyone know for sure if the standard MINI roof rack base system will fit directly to a Gen2 GP? I looked along the gutter line for the marks where the cut-out would be but could see nothing. Admittedly though the last rack I installed on a MINI was on our older 2009 Cooper S which we traded a few years ago.

According to the MINI parts diagrams it looks like it fits.

The GP2 share the same part number on the upper trim #11 on the R56 , so I don't see why not.
