Traded in my JCW for the GP, power on the GP is much more linear with the GP, not as much as a turbo rush (lag) as before.

ya the 14-16 mpg stunk, that and i want to auto x the GP most likely...the V was only good on a track if you wanted to run it, but awesome car..looked at ZL1's but same stuff different day..love a Z/28 but forget that pricing...I figure the GP is perfect to auto x and have some fun on weekends...

Have always wanted a 1M! The reviews on them were all so good. Did you enjoy it? The 1M seems like a car thats full of character & soul. I had a
2001 M coupe and really loved it. Looking forward to the upcoming 2M.

Yeah, it was a blast. I'm sure I'll regret selling it sooner or later.

Mini of Tinley ran out of GP's so they traded with Mini of Chicago to get me one. The other two GP's Mini of Chicago currently has are demo cars.

+1
Traded a loaded JCW in for the GP. The difference in the suspension is worth it. The steering is worth about 5K. Car and Driver got .97g vs .89 in the JCW. That feels about right. Don't miss anything except occasional sunroof use. Would agree that it's easier if you have a second larger car which is a luxury of course, also that the kids stopped riding in the back after about 10 yo. JCW was perfect when they were younger. Now I'll be headed to the track instead of soccer on the weekend. Did I mention that the steering is perfect?

I'm guessing sooner though the M4 will dry the tears when you put the windows down. I'd sell an organ for one lap. Be fun to trade off between front and back drive in your GP and M4...

I'd have to agree on the steering, word is the m group "helps" on these from what I read, but one thing that's amazing is the power from my 12 to the GP is night and day, the GP is an animal :-)
I'm amazed at how it handles, its darn near perfect :-)
