Recent M7 Tuning GP enquiry

So I was browsing M7's site- checking out their products and I saw their rear carbon fiber diffuser tunnels for the R56 JCW...
I contacted them through their site asking a simple question: and I quote:
Subject: Carbon Fiber Diffuser tunnels
> Message: Hello,
> Do you know if this is compatable with a 2013 GP's rear diffuser mounting
> points? I like my diffuser but would love it if it was CF. thank you
> - Tim

Their response 2 days later was this:

> Tim
>
> I am not sure I understand your question? What exactly are you referring to
> as "2013 GP"?
> Our diffuser mounting points are unique to the M7 design. The system was
> designed and engineered in-house. So if you are asking if it will match up
> to a competitors mounts. I would not think so.
>
> Give me more specific info and I will work with you on this.
>
>
> Thanks for contacting M7
> Stay M7 Tuned.........................

I guess it was my fault for not clarifying to a Mini Tuning company that I was referring to a 2013 Mini Cooper JCW GP... I just assumed that they would know what I ment by saying a 2013 GP..

M7 recently changed ownership. Don't know who bought it but you would come to think they would know what the GP was.

Guess we will know shortly if they are just selling the stuff in the boxes they bought, or they will continue to grow and further M7....
sounds like as of now, they are still learning about MINI'S.......

LOL I have been noticing that M7 has been getting a lot more aggressive with their facebook posts recently... They showed a video of an R56 with a pretty interesting Sequential Shift system the other week. If that product is something being developed by the new owners, then we may see some other cool/risky endeavors from them...

EDIT: Just saw how old that video is LOL sorry

M7 was purchased by myteebrite group http://www.myteebrite.com/, in March of 2013.

Per their site they are a e-commerce company focused on automotive aftermarket performance.

..I would hope that they are going to try and grow.

Either way, as a company already in the MINI market, a new owner should do a little research before responding with such an a$$-retarded answer. Heck, take an extra day or two to google! AND....who the heck doesn't know what a 2013 GP is?!!!

I'm trying not to lose faith in the "new" M7

Yeah...not a great start...think they would be "more into the MINI scene" if they were buying a MINI modding company....
Hope they hire somebody FAST!!
Anybody need a JOB?!

Epic fail on their part, you just made me laugh The rear bumper on the original GP was SLIGHTLY different than the bumper on the regular MINI's, and I don't mean the silver inserts, but the actual size of the bumper. Cross reference the rear bumper part number with a regular JCW Bumper part # and see if they are the same. If so, I bet you will be in luck and it would fit........ if you actually to give them your hard earned money now!
