Jumping from a WC50 into a R56 GP

Hello gang,

I currently own a WC50 and am looking to get a GP R56. However I've never driven one or even sat in one before. I love how it looks and the idea of having a stripped down car that most likely will be a future classic.

I'm aware that the driving experience can be very different coming from the R56 world, but a more raw driving experience appeals me.

Since I have never experienced one I'm looking to meet up with a GP owner to get some personal insights about the car.

Anybody in the Houston area that would like to meet for coffee?

Also, what do you guys think of selling my WC50 for a GP? Am I going nuts?

I love my GP so I can't blame you. The WC50 was nice, but not different enough from a standard JCW.

The GP1 #1899 is for sale and I'm looking into it.
Anybody knows any history about that car?
It's selling for 20k but that car sold earlier this year for 15k. I don't understand that.
Also that car is missing the rear fog light. Is that normal? I thought all GP were fully loaded.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.

here is the link when it was sold:

GP 1899 is an R53 and it did not come with a rear fog light. You can order a replacement rim from ECS tuning.

Congrats on the GP 2006 .

Coming from a WC50 => GP , you like to own the rare ones.
