Modified Automobile Program

Since my GP is not my daily driver, I've been considering changing my insurance to a modified automobile program.

The program covers the GP as a hobby vehicle. This include exhibitions, club activities, parades, or other functions of public interest. Occasional pleasure drives are acceptable.

The downside is that I won't be able to drive it more than 3,500 miles per year, although additional mileage requests are considered. I also can't autox it.

The upside is, I will save a ton on my insurance! (no it's not Geico ) The minimum policy premium is $150.... per year!!

Has anyone had any experience with J.C. Taylor Modified Auto Agency, Inc?

Feedback is gladly accepted. Pros? Cons? Questions?

Thanks!

I have a 1970 Ford F250 Sport Custom.....and I use Haggerty Insurance. It costs me about $100 a year for full coverage and I have 8k replacement value should it get taken south of the border or just plain away!

I've heard of Haggerty. Do you think this would be a good thing for me to do since I don't drive the GP very much?

BTW, Nice truck! I miss my 1976 F150 4x4 and my Bronco...

I've got Haggerty on my Mini, but for a different reason. I pay $1200 a year for 60k coverage on my car.
