Cool. Would be interesting to see the numbers on whether the new intercooler is better. From all that I have read, the GP intercooler is the best bang for the buck. I bought one last year and painted it with a can of Eastwood radiator paint. Alot of research showed any black paint can reduce surface heat 18-30%.
At the first track outing i will test the intercooler.
At the last track day with an outside temperature of about 20° with the GP stock intercooler, the scangauge marked a intake temperature of 60° after 4-5 laps pulled.
After many years I update this thread with some news

Wow, first update post in nearly 10 yrs! Che bella macchinna!
Just now watched your 2010 tracking videos. Good chases then! The one you just posted is from 2015 - are you still doing that?
Mine has mods meant for tracking but never used that way by the original owner. I won't either!
Thanks so much!
I forgot to be registered in the forum. I haven't logged in for a while
The last video is from 2015, cause the other times I've been on the Ring, the marshals have seen the camera and told me to take it off
Well it's not wrong to preserve it for future value. I'm the only owner of my GP, but I have exploited it a lot. Indeed I don't really care about the collectible value, the important thing is that makes me fun when I drive it.
I'm glad this thread got bumped, even if it was because of an errant post. That video of the Ring is amazing! Can't believe how little traffic there was, except for a few spots. Very nice driving, indeed!
