Lets post some GP pics
Haha! It was not even my usual place, I was in a rush to get to this euro picnic and stopped by a place in Capitola, CA and told the Mexican dude to really clean the black (should be red) calipers and wheels then handed him a $20 tip prior. Mind you it was not a detail, it was just the $29.99 works, but this dude sure treated it like a detail. It was better than the $139.99 dealership detail

A couple photos I shot while at Lime Rock for the first MINI Takes The States on September 4th, 2006. This was the final destination for that nationwide rally, and several lucky people got their GP's delivered to them at this great event, (as most of you already know).
You can see they were driven properly; there's lots of brake dust on the spokes of those gorgeous R105's.
GREAT CARS! I'm jealous.

Hi Ian,
That was a fun weekend, Yes Tammy still has her GP. Me I’m still having fun with the Hot Rods although none of them
are nearly as much fun on the twisty’s as the GP. Hope all is well.

Can you post up more shots of your car!? Its convincing me to get my arches painted!
BTW, did you purchase new arches that were smooth or just paint over the texture? Or did you have them sand it all down? I'm definitely digging the all painted look.

we use to get 20-30 Minis out there late at night.. and do the hood salute

Here's another shot, ignore the hand sneaking into the photo:
We are going on a drive through Prescott, Jerome, Sedona on January 7th...should mostly be GP's and R56 JCW's. Good times to be had

You are more than welcome to join us
I'm in N. Phoenix, by 19th ave & Bell, which is a few blocks away from where I-17 & 101 intersect...not toooo far away from you guys. Damn, we're gonna have to pass on the next drive; will be out of town. Saturdays are out as well, since work gets in the way of things... :/

GP0220 gets around! Delivered at Monterey, CA ... originally in NH ... now in TX!
Mind you, GP0154 did Monterey, to NY, to TX, to NY, to CA and now I think to AZ - but all with the same owner!

Yeah I believe GP0220 has had 3 owners with me being the 3rd one. I'm down here in TX for School.
Was asked by the MINI Dealership today when I went to pick-up the GP from them, if I plan on selling it. My answer was, "Nope don't plan to."

They sanded them smooth, then left a texture, then prepped it with some kinda white base primer re-smoothed it, then applied the thunder blue and clear, at least that's what they told me.

Wouldn't mind it at all...having a GP with a moon roof
