The R107's weigh 19.8 lbs and the OEM RF tires are around 21lbs.

As they say where there is a will there is a way. The reason the parts are tightly controled is with so few made worldwide same applies to the GP specific parts, so if everyone is allowed to purchase these parts in the future when an owner gets in an accident and needs these specific parts to repair his or her GP they might not be available. Anyway the wheels are made by Ronal so maybe googleing them might turn something up.

If your "worried" about using up the precious stock of wheels as a "poser", there's a company with very good replicas (much cheaper btw) on Ebay as well. LOL.
