The R107's weigh 19.8 lbs and the OEM RF tires are around 21lbs.
hey dont take that crap from these lame uptight...we have to follow the rules geeks!! what a joke! i cant believe people would even post (its a limited edition you cant have them!...etc) what losers!! we live in a free country and if thats your dream to have gp wheels, im going to tell you how to get them. just go to ebay, autotrader, or cars.com. and print out a copy of a gp edition that has the vin number listed. tell them you just bought it. and vola! good luck and remember we live in the usa not the former ussr!
Wow, I didn't know that living in the USA allowed you to break any rule that you like. I'll have to remember that the next time I want something...
As they say where there is a will there is a way. The reason the parts are tightly controled is with so few made worldwide same applies to the GP specific parts, so if everyone is allowed to purchase these parts in the future when an owner gets in an accident and needs these specific parts to repair his or her GP they might not be available. Anyway the wheels are made by Ronal so maybe googleing them might turn something up.
If your "worried" about using up the precious stock of wheels as a "poser", there's a company with very good replicas (much cheaper btw) on Ebay as well. LOL.
