Interesting article! I had an 04 MCS that got totaled. Insurance company (Progressive) gave me back $19,400 for it and it had 107,000 miles on it. But the thing is I got it used for $17,000 cash. I put an additional 60k miles (107k total) on it and still made $2,400 on it. Thats how I got the GP BTW. Several random peolpe have offered me $33k and up to $35k in the Pebble Beach and Silicon Valley areas, I had to refuse.
