Stroker GP Driving Impression
Stroker GP Driving Impression
Hello,
Had the opportunity to take a test ride in Jan's stroker GP at AMIV, thanks again Jan! What an incredible machine. Felt to me like a double MCS. Perfect drivability with a throaty exhaust note. Clutch was a four puck and slightly tricky as I am used to the heavy stock MCS clutch. Clutch had a light linier pedal and a very solid lockup. All other driving inputs were same as stock except for incredible horse power and torque. Only went for a short drive on the side streets of Vegas near the Palace Station and never went much above 5,000 rpm, motor was more than willing to go higher, this driver wasn't. This is the most powerful MC I have ever driven and am now spoiled for all other mods and am now lusting after this motor. Barry from MC Magazine went for a ride after I did and had a similar experience. Jan really has this right and it's and incredible package.
Thanks,
Mark

I wish I would have had more time to let more people get a test drive of it.
It really spoils you having all of that torque at the blip of the throttle. No lag, just instantaneous go
Can't wait to put a Laminova on it next....
I would expect the tq to be higher later in the RPM as intake temps are cooler, we have seen it on Danny's 1.6L car
the laminova made about 20whp better than air to air top mounts in our testing on a high rev'ing car.
If it makes 20whp on the stroker we will be looking at the 280whp area on pump gas

Another one? I was not invited to the previous ones?
I will be flyin to CT tomorrow... will have to wait for next week
I was referencing the 1 yr anniversary, but we had all talked about trying to do something more regular, like every few months. I'll talk to Danny over the weekend and see what we can come up with. And of course you're invited. You're the life of the party
