GP rear interior
We have been in love with the GP rear interior since I first saw it, and when one became available locally as a take off from a conversion. It was very tempting at $1500 since the OEM parts if you can get them cost over $2200. When the price came down to $1200 we made an offer , it was accepted and now it is in the car. The rear bar is just stuck in there now as I will have to drill holes to mount it properly, but it is truly an awesome conversion, and at less than half the price, a great deal. Nothing looks cleaner or finer for a rear seat delete.
Do any of you GP owners have a picture of the bar brackets on the car without the panels. I am trying to see how the brackets mount na dwhere to drill holes

First your bar is upside down, the child seat attachment goes behind the passenger seat. Check GPMINI.org some guys have done mods where the have taken off the panels and the pictures show the bar mount. Looks good.

Lots of pictures that might help you, on my sites ... basically the bar brackets go in place of the rear 6x9 speakers (which GPs don't have!); here's a great picture taken by Ric (click to see bigger and get to the gallery where there are other pictures too):

Me too - would be interesting if someon could make a custom version in different colours..... 
(Carbon fibre would be interesting too - not to save weight but just to look good

The GP parts came in and were installed today with little or no fuss at Mini of Charleston(once again, best Mini service...ever)
The cargo container had to be cut and molded a bit to fit around the seatbelt hooks at the base of what used to be the seats.
So here is what the process kind of looked like and the finished product at the end(the cargo bar was left out in the beginning because of the ungodly price)
And there you have it, a wonderful, albeit very expensive way to do a rear seat delete.
