GP Supercharger

Does anyone know if there is a difference in the GP supercharger verses a standard Works supercharger. Is it just that the GP supercharger has a smaller pulley?

Same superchargers with a different IC.. ECU Tune and IC get's the 7HP increase over the JCW. Perfomance gain is in reduced weight and better areo...Just my 2 pennies.

Yup he is right! And we just started working on GP/JCW performance parts and specific mapping. So expect to see larger gains ASAP!

Supercharger problems

I just read in the current MS2 mag that people have had some superchargers prematurelyfail due to the water pump drive located on the back of the supercharger. It is sealed permantely with a lubricate but some have had seal failure leading to loss of the lubrication and ultimaley overheating. You can usually tell because you will hear noise coming from the back of the supercharger which means its getting dry. Has anyone had this on there GP or know of anyone who has had this happen to on there MCS?
