I'd dump it.

On the street, when people see a Mini, they're NOT thinking BMW, and it'll just make them go, "HUH?"

Finally got hold of the right person to talk to in DMV. It's kind of sad having to revert to various 'tricks' to get to a real live person from the voice mail loop.

Anyhow .. I'm too late. Nothing can be done. The license plate manufacturer is currently involved in the manufacture of my MINIBMW plate.

Thanks a lot for your inputs.

But, then again, there's rule #3. Hadn't remembered reading that one.

Today I saw MINZILA. My favorite so far.
MINZILA...how cool would THAT be on a British Racing Green Mini!! So cute.

Personally, I like your new V-plates. If you drive the best...why not improve upon it??

That would me my New Mexico plate, Ken. And I stole it from NAM member Minzilla, on the promise of NEVER entering his state.

I've done this alot. Actually, you can just call them and ask what is taken if you can deal with being on the phone waiting for half an hour and then they keep asking you to click a button or they cut you off Once you find out if your choice is not taken, you can quickly mail in your application with the $$.

My second choice was LILPUTN (as in Lilliputian).

Good choice! I like the way you think. Here's my plate! Good choice of color, too!

Minzila

Whoa, hold on just a minute. My Florida "MINZILA" plate has been on my MCS for just over 5 years. It was my 2nd choice to "S CAR GO", which someone was already using. 50% of people understand it right away and 50% need it explained to them. It seemed appropriate at the time and I still like it. Whatever turns you on.

Motor On
MINZILA

Ahhh! WEE ONE! I looked into that one but it was already taken in CA (as was the more complete version of mine WEE MINI).

So WEE TINY, WEE ONE & WEE MNI...any other WEE's out there on NAM?

Yikes! MINIBMW is so not there. Way too corporate IMHO. My plate is MINIEMEE. However, MS MINI would be an interesting choice.

Okay, my current list for my MCS plate replacement includes:

. SMLRNSM (smaller than some)

. NT4DTMD (not for the timid)

. CONBRIO (musical term, "with spirit")

. COOPERS (after painting in an apostrophe it becomes, COOPER'S - possessive tense of my last name)

Comments?

My vote goes to CONBRIO or COOPERS.

It's hard to pass up the connection with your last name! That gets my vote.

The first two might create a lot of head scratching on the road.

Personally, I wouln't want drivers baffled enough that they forget to watch my brake lights in traffic! :impatient

Being a musician (and loving spirited driving) I can only vote for:

CONBRIO

Thanks for your input folks. It was very helpful .. My replacement personalized license plate choices will be:

COOPER'S (I'll paint in the apostrophe with red nail polish)

CON BRIO (In music it means, with spirit)

BRAVURA (In music it means, a performance of extraordinary virtuosity)
