A few weeks ago, SF weather has dipped down to 'freezing' temps (low 30's) at night to a point where we have frozen windshields and black ice on roads. Granted, it's not as cold as Toronto though....
As for "frumpysf" - Ever read a comic strip called Frumpy the Clown in the mid-90's? It's created by Judd Winick (MTV Real World San Francisco, current writer for DC comics Green Arrow, Batman, Green Lantern...to name a few...). 'SF' stands for my hometown.
