I don't think the Hawaiians are going to like the name of that thing.

Think it's the R79...
Or maybe FJCooper? Kinda like DB Cooper, but not.
Pimp'd. For no reason other than 'cause it's there.

There, got the magnifying glass out.
The grill reminds me of the '57 Chevy I had, the "bullets" are castrated though. Should be called MAXI, but there are negative connotations with that.
A photo of mine of a '57 Chevy:

I agree with the last editorial in MC2. Multiple 'versions' of the MINI will only dilude the brand across the board....
Stick with the MINI and MINI convertible...

Sorry, but someone is going...has to...build a Moke. It is an unavoidable bit of Mini history. There is no escape. I only hope that the builders (BMW or customizers) put as much effort and sensitivity in keeping it essentially "MINI" as has been done with R56.
Whether it makes production or remains a specialized one-off is an entirely different story.

There is definitely a connection between the FX and MINI. I had an 04 FX 35. I loved it. It handled great and quick but gas prices went up so I test drove an MCS. End of story. I'll never go back.

Not that comment again! OY VEY!
I don't see why that is a "Moke." It looks like a bloated MINI SUV.
