I think instead of "StoopidGirl", we should start calling Emily "Covergirl"!!

Does your bookstore list show anything in the SF Bay Area?
Thanks!
Jim

A Merry Christmas!

So I open up a small gift from my 23-year old son, and lo and behold it's a full subscription to MC2! Well, he wanted to include something substantial in the package as well, so he picked up a copy of the Winter 2006 edition of NewMini to add to the package...

...and what do you know, there's "Covergirl" (aka Stoopid Girl) in all of her hot pink glory! (Way too hot for these middle aged bones, but I guess us mid-life crisis guys can always fantasize...)

Awesome MINI.

It's THE Auto Zone on Woodward Ave. in Birmingham Michigan, not the garden variety car parts place. Home of wonderful die cast, auto-related DVDs and vintage plastic vehicle models. Awesome place and is frequented by designers and industry types so there is always a debate raging.

I'll drop by there tomorrow and see if Eric has any copies left and if he does will list contact info for those who must have it. He apparently does quite the business sending his auto mags around the nation. BTW - Em and her car are the best things in the mag!

Here's Eric's email address - azautozone@aol.com
He said that there would be no problem getting a copy of the mag (he has 7 left!) to anyone that wants one. It'll cost you, but he offers exceptional service. The magazine alone is 8.99. Email him for the details. PM me for the telephone number in case you want to put your order in ASAP.

The article on Cory Thies is also pretty good and I'd say that it's a good mag, even if some of the show cars are a little over-the-top.

sweet thanks for the info! This should help people out!

I liked the mag, I was worried I wouldn't like my article but they did a great job writing it. Even nailed a few things on the head about me that I don't remember saying. Some of the cars were over the top but it does take that usually to get in a car mag. Just because someone's styling isn't for me, doesn't mean I can't appreciate it (heck Ihave a pink MINI)

So does this mean we'll see Lambo Doors and 22" Chrome spinners on PinkSlip at AMVIV?

Hahah Brilliant - wicked job on getting in a magazine. That would be very cool to look at your own car on paper!

Ugh I can't seem to find a copy of the magazine anywhere around here. Might try and see if my friends in Anchorage can find a copy. Are there any places online to buy the magazine?
