I keep asking and get no answers HOW CAN I GET A JPG of the BGR signiture decal so I can have cooper stripes make one for my window? I love a badge for my grill but that seems not to be possible

Yes, but I have a suspicion that Purple Haze / Silver may be the rarest of rare in the silver roof club. . . .but Solar Red / Silver may be even more rare, particularly because it is a Cooper only combo?

I would love to see MINI's official list of color combinations and the number of each ordered.

 

Hello. We are new to the forum and are ready to order a RG MCS.

We were informed by our MA that the silver roof is already no longer available for September production. The silver roof is still showing as an option when we build our own Mini on the website. We assumed we would be ordering an '06 but maybe it's an '07? We thought that '07 was the upcoming redesigned model.

Can someone set us straight? Thanks.

September production will be an 06. I'm guessing that they are MINImizing the options available while they wind down the 06 production and prepare to build the new models.

 

Yucca... I think your words will prove out right.....The rarest color combos will be :

1) Solar Red/Silver Roof
2) Purple Haze/ Silver Roof

 

solar red/silver roof looks extremly extremly sexy.

 

I would suspect my combo of DS/S is not very common either. Picking it up this Saturday

 

As far as color combos go, any of us with silver tops have an advantage over other owners since ours was only produced for one year. I too want to know what the numbers are though, I'm sure thats a pretty simple statistic to get from MINI.

Recently I was in Florida for a wedding and parked my HB/S MCS head to head with a solar red MC that also had silver top and stripes. Nobody else understood how rare of a sight it was, but it pleased me.

Congrats on your pick up next week Solberg. Let me tell you something... I picked up my DS/S three weeks ago and there are absolutely no regrets! It looks great!

And with the news above, it will be more unique so to speak... g'yeah!

 

Really? SB/S IMO is an obvious choice due to the Checkmate package AND the fact that it looks Suh-Weet But I would have thought more people would've ordered the Black vs the Grey But then again, if it makes sense... it wasn't me

 

to add to the rarities, the SB was also phased out just as the silver roof.
so those of us with the SB/S have something else to look forward to.

 

It was sexy enough to make me buy a MC instead of MCS... sign me up for this one too.
