The official Indi Blue owners thread

First time on the blue thread
Was browsing thru the NAM site and discovered the Indi Blue Club. Had no idea this color was retired! This is my 2nd run with a blue MINI. My first experience was in '71 when my parents drove from Manitoba, Canada to Atlanta, Georgia! As soon as I saw this one it was sold before I even got in it. The roof rack was just installed. It was a huge help during the 6 hour trip from ATL to Amelia this summer! Family of 4 with 8 & 5 year olds. Anyone out there with two MINI's and a full family? Can it be done?

I have four grown kids...we use the MINI to it's full capacity, at least now and again.

Time to update
Well, the Moditis has finally reached phase two. I got a 15% SC Pulley, a Lightened Crank and a +5% Alt Pulley from CravenSpeed, and Loren at CravenSpeed did them all in BLUE! OK, so it's not true IB, but it's keeping the Bonnet area BLUE. I also changed to the colder iridium plugs and BLUE 8mm wires. I'm trying to save up for a rear anti sway bar and some Koni FSDs, but I'll probably go with a cheaper performance mod first. I'm thinking of the Detroit Tuned BPV and the M7 180F Thermostat. It may not seem like much, but I always say a cool MINI is a happy MINI!
I'll post more pics in my gallery!

Well, I think that depends on your situation. I say yes, but when it came time to upgrade my wife's current car, she decided against her own '06 MCSCa BRG/B and opted for a Minivan instead (with the lack of a 'Countryman/Traveller, I call it the MINIvan ), with the promise that she could get her own MINI in the future.
Personally, if it had been up to me, I'd have gotten her the MCSCa and just used both MINIs when required.
