Hi--please sign me up! I just got my confirmed production week today--#28. Nothing like cutting it close to the wire before the factory shuts down for retooling...

Don't know yet if I'm expecting a girl or a boy (haven't asked for a sonogram), but s/he will be a HB/W MCS with white bonnet stripes and a sunroof with white decal. My first MINI and the first car I've ever picked out myself...I'm so excited!

 

A question for the veteran posters on this list...

How do I get those neat badges for my signature? Is there something I need to do to get approval to use a badge? Or is it OK to just add links to the image files of the ones that apply to me--Not Quite Owners Club, Hyper Blue, Dog Owners? And if it's that easy, how do I find the links?

Hey, I was wondering if you could sign me up for this thread....
I have a MCS JWC in hyper blue of course. I should set its tires on American soil today as I hope that it is unloaded of the ship today in CA.

 

We just found out ours will be finshed July 7th, 2006. How long do you think delivery would take to get to the Salt Lake City dealership?

 

I just missed one boat to the west coast, so mine then sat at the docks in Southampton for two weeks waiting for another. The boat trip itself is about 3 weeks. Then I would guess a week for the Dist Center and truck ride to SLC. So, you're looking at 4 - 6 weeks from the time it gets to Southampton.

 

My MCS left the dock on June 6th and I am still waiting for it to set its tires on US soil. I think the ship (Toronto) docked today in CA, but I am not sure. :impatient

 

Gosh looking at all the photo's of Mini's is making me so JEALOUS. Mine won't be here till next month, so I am living through all of you!!

 

Hi everyone, don't know what number I am, but the important thing is I'm here and joining the club.

I have an '05 MCS which I purchased from Lauderdale MINI on April 29th, 2005. His name in Jekyll & Hyde and he was a dealer demo. He has the Sport, Premium, Convenience, White Bonnet Stripes & Sunroof Graphic, Rally Lights, Black Panther Leather, Alarm, HB interior, Chrono package, Bling Bling (Chrome) Package, Harman Kardon.

He has since had some additions, which include: Scoop grill, Sunshine MINIs badge, Honda S2000 Stubby Antenna, Toggle Panel Chrome Trim, My_Mini Chrome Door Caps, My_Mini rear seat pull straps, My_Mini 4th brake light kit, My_Mini "Give me a Break" rear fog light kit, My_Mini tow hook, Falken Circuit Spec wheels, MINI Motoring Hearts grill badge.

He now has 21,500 miles and we've motored together for 14,500. Road trips include Key West, Tampa Bay, Winter Park, St. Augustine & Daytona Beach... all in Florida. We're looking forward to Mickey & MINI this year and the Dragon in 2007.

Irish Cooper, how do you like the Anthracite/Gray Leatherette combo? That's what I'll have (getting on the Courage _tomorrow_ for the big cruise). I took _forever_ deciding between silver and anthracite...

 

The Anthracite headliner is GREAT, its one of those have to have options in my opinion, i originally wasnt going to get it, until my dad got his MINI and when i would ride in it, i started getting used to it and liked it alot better. It went as well with his Alloy Patina dash as it does with my Hyper Blue dash. As for the Grey Leatherette i thought it looked better than all black cause it broke up some of the monotony.

 

QFT!!! I really can't stand the regular gray headliner anymore, it's gonna have to be black in every car from here on out.
