Haven't checked in in awhile, but as the third anniversary of my MINI purchase just passed, thought I would. Nice to see there is some recent activity.
Still enjoying my MINI, and looking forward to taking a few trips in it this summer, and a couple of SCMM events, like our yearly run through the Santa Monica mountains, MOAT, Mother Of All Twisties.

2006 MCS

 

Dear GT6, one of your members correctly pointed out that my `03 MC S can`t be hyper blue. My invoice from the famous local Mini dealer showed my pre-owned Mini hot-rod as hyper blue. My research, plus finding a factory badge on right inner fender area, clearly states my car is indy blue. As this conflicts with the whole point of your club, i must withdraw my membership. Looks like i`ll have to find another group to support. Pity, i was planning to fly 15 Minis to Germany on one of my cargo planes this fall to drive the Alps and lap the Nurbergring. Perhaps the Vancouver Mini club can go. Your ex-member but still friend, Lvspeed

 

Wow, I would like to get my Mini on that plane! That would be amazing.

 

Please ad us to the list. We just purchased a 2006 MCS Hyper blue with white roof and white bonnet stripes. It had less than 7000 miles on the clock and we couldn't pass it up. Options include Aero kit, R90's, Chrono package, sunroof, Xeon headlights and rally lights.
