Just my 2 cents!
I went Purple all over (roof, mirrors and grill) leaving the alloy patina dash and door panels... no factory graphics. Did opt for the chrome interior trim.

Right now, I am leaning towards getting polished Centerline wheels which are easy to clean off brake dust. Although, I may go a totally different direction and get black wheels. More then likely, I am going to get 15x7 rims with 205/55-15 tires -- I like having a bit more sidewall then the standard 205/45-17's.

Greetings everyone!

I'm kind of partial to Purple. I sold my Amethyst Metallic Porsche 944 for my new 2006 Cooper S back in February.

Just dropping off your complimentary logo (to be used in sigs) in the PH Owner's Club flavor (PHOC). Enjoy.

I won't dirty up the thread with other car photos, if you want to peek>>autocrossing in the Porsche

Sounds like a sharp car! I wish I had gone with the Chrome interior !

You'll have to post a picture when it arrives!

Thanks for the logo, very generous of you

If the Chili Red member is a "Croc", does that make us a "Phoc" with the ph sounding like an "f"? Be careful now...

So how do I get this logo on my sig?

Click on it to save to your directory. Then go to MY MINI GALLERY and upload it into your gallery. Click on it to get it "down below" then right click on it, go to properties and copy/paste the http: link. Then go to "edit signature" and click in your sig where you want it and then click on the "insert image" logo in the bar and paste the http link.

I think I got all the steps!

Thanks purplefreak. I'm thinking of getting my own NAM account because putting all of us and our cars on the sig will get pretty crowded. As it is now, when I post (skatemom) it looks like I drive the race car. As much as I like him (Bagheera) I want my own identity.

Hey, how did I miss this, awesome job Thompson, I'm wondering how a magnetic piece can be fixed on the factory plastic grill though, is there an additional bracket needed? or will it be like this one https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=66944

The badge holder and the badge are 2 pieces. The badge holder is mounted to the grill, then you can pick and choose which badges you want to put on.

I'm so glad I found this thread. More purple haze lovers! We have the only PH in Delaware (that we've seen anyway), so it's nice to see some more, if only in pictures. Here's a picture of my Murphy from last summer before he got his boot stripes.

Hong! I totally forgot about you dude! WOW You bought another two Coopers? Schweet Thanks re the badge. I've been busy this weekend at home - I designed them for PH, CR, DS and PW gruppes so far.

Yes, well it's the factory MINI badge holder, from outmotoring.com

I'm working on getting magnetic badges produced. stay tuned.

Refilling the window washer fluid and noticed a label that said "Black-Eye Purple"...Is that what Purple Haze is really called across the pond? Why did the change it to Purple Haze? Mick

It's only here in the USA, that it's called PurpleHaze every where else it's BEP.

I am not going to try and explain why the name change..... I guess they wanted to be PC about it
