New owner(s), used 2013 coupe base + 2025 JCW

Bit of a interesting weekend, bought 2 in 1 day. Drove to Vegas, traded in a car to the wife a 25' JCW and I got my son a 13' base coupe to learn to drive in eventually. For now I drive both as I please, wrenching on my kids, teaching him how to clay/polish/wax/change oil/plugs/filter basic stuff on the 2013. Found it a bit hard to find a decent used mini under 10k for him around me, they all had prior accidents(found one with mold in the trunk from a terrible bumper repair job). Found him a base, rather it been a stick but its pretty clean. 1 owner, no accidents and 70k miles on it. Interior is flawless, exterior is probably a 7/10, I noticed it needs a cowl molding on the windshield that appears to be partially broken probably from a battery replacement. No fade, the moldings were fade free so it was garage kept luckily. Anyways, first mini for us, always liked them. Wife got jealous that I was looking for one for him so we traded in her car and got her a loaded JCW while we were there. Drove home with 2 minis. The 2 hour drive in the 13' pulled 39.2mpg cruising at 78mph, no error codes, no lights kicking on and ac full blast as it was 108F out in the desert. Itll be a perfect learn to drive and care for a car vehicle for my kid I think. No turbo so he cant be too stupid in it. Kind of think the 13' was a great deal for its condition(no mods, original everything everywhere) still had the original windshield on it. I was previously a Z owner long ago(280z, z32), also a jeep owner some, rebuilt rotary engines for 5 years for Mazda also so this is my happiness in life, cars and people who appreciate them.
