Save the Manuals! Mini Driving School

I have a manual transmission on my Mini and my previous car. So I like the sentiment of this. But at the same time, I feel learning manual transmission is more about practice that you probably won't learn in a class. Maybe it'll teach you enough so you can buy the car and then learn while driving. I guess it could be for people who don't have a friend/family member who can show them how it's done. In that case, it's probably nice.

Hooked up with a SCC many years ago driving a TR roadster. These guys did a lot of weekend autocross and I went with on a couple of trips to a major track where we got 'schooled' on track driving. I still apply those lessons learned and they make a whale of a difference in enjoying MINI motoring especially on the twisties.
