Auto Stop/Start

In my previous MINI, a 2017 2 door Hardtop, I was able to switch off this extremely annoying feature and it would stay off. Now, in my 2022 S 2 door hardtop, I must turn it off every time I start the engine. I find this even MORE irritating in a manual transmission vehicle. I have been told that changing the coding of this "feature" so that it remains switched off voids the warranty.
I remember having the dealership turn it off in my 2010 135i. Any opinions/experiences with this?

Thanks,

Joseph

I turned it off in my 22 S 4 door with bimmercode. I set it so it remembers the last setting, like my '17.

Turning it off doesn't void the warranty. The option is there in the factory software, you just can't access it without Bimmercode (or taking it to the dealer).

The SA that I usually deal with (who is usually fantastic) seemed to not want to discuss it. I’m wondering if I should just press further.
