Buyer beware
I just wanted to share an experience I had with a sister company to Ecs tunning. I was looking a a quick jack for the mini… it’s basically a hydraulic lift like a shop has but it only lifts the car 20” off the ground. Plenty for the mini and it’s electric and portable.
Now most places want 1500.00 but I was on line and found a company selling it for 1250.00 I called the company (Rinnline) to see if they had them in stock and was told that they drop ship them from parts geek their sister company and that they have 9 in stock and I should have it next week if I ordered now.
so I placed my order and waited patiently till the following Tuesday which was a week and I hadn’t gotten a tracking number yet. So I called to inquire about the lift and was told that it ships from their mother company ECS tunning, that they didn’t have any in stock and that ECS told them that they can’t sell it to me for that price
they said ECS sets the price and that I would have to pay 1500.00 if I still wanted it. As you was talking to them I looked online and found an add for the same quick jack 3500 form ECS for1275.00. Ten line said that ECS didn’t have any instack and it would be at a month before they got any in .
I hung up on them and called ECS. They told me that they had 10 in stock and would ship the next day. They even matched the price I was originally sold on. RINNLINE tried to scam me after the fact, to try and make more money because other companies were charging more. I will never give them my business now and wanted to give a positive shout out to ECS for honoring the original price and taking care of the customer. I have bought a good amount of products from them and will continue to do so
