General MINI TalkShared experiences, motoring minutes, and other general MINI-related discussion that applies to all MINIs, regardless of model, year or trim.
Got my second Mini this weekend. A 2022 S replaced a 2017 base. I was honestly surprised that this one, with all it's options, did not include a Self-Dimming RVM as standard. Do any of you know if this can be done? Also, it came with Hankook Optimos, which SUCK, as I found out on my previous Mini. I eventually replaced them, which I can't afford to do right now on the 2022. I have no issue with Run Flats and I'm curious what some of you prefer for All-seasons.
Lastly, have any of you had the car coded so the Auto Stop/Start is always off? It stayed off in the 2017. The SA told me he "doesn't think" it can be turned off on the 2022.
I'm having somewhat of a befuddling time finding the right tire size for my Mini One.
The tires at present on the vehicle are 175/65R 15 88H XL.
After Summer, beginning of november, I'm purchasing another set full Set of Michelin Crosscliment Plus which will help both myself and my accomplice.
My vehicles manual suggests the tires that are at present on the vehicle anyway underneith it ( I'll connect a picture.) a tire size of 195/55R 16.
While putting my reg into a web-based tire shop the recomendation for the vehicle was the second size 195/55R 16. 192.168.100.1192.168.1.1

The factory size for 15" wheels is 175/65, so I'd go with that unless you want to buy new wheels.
Or explore some alternate 15" sizes, though you'd need to factor in the width of your current wheels.
