Got A New Mini Today

Traded in my 2017 Cooper Hardtop for a 2022 Cooper S Signature Trim (with Nav) CPO with 3,200 miles. Moonwalk Grey Metallic.
I used to drive manual transmission exclusively and ordered 4 of my 6 BMW's that way. When test driving this car I noticed the clutch pedal was a bit far (I'm 5'8", with a bit of a paunch), but I though seat fine tuning would take care of that. Now that I own the car, it seems that I need to put the seat a little too close to comfortably reach the clutch. Aside from losing weight (which I'm doing) any suggestions for a clutch extender that's not insanely large? Also, I haven't decided about keeping the stripes as yet.
LOVE the car otherwise and can't wait to take it out tomorrow.

I can't help with the clutch extender but congratulations on the new ride.

Car looks great. I have the same issue with the clutch pedal (and I'm really skinny). I would love the seat to be about 2" further back but can't comfortably reach the clutch at that point.

I'm not sure if it'd help at all since it's a small amount, but people add space to their clutch stops since "going to the floor" isn't completely necessary. But likely, it's not enough to matter.
Ever since I started driving manual transmission, I've had to have my seats closer. I figured it was just the trade off =P

The trick if you on the fence about stripes is to add more. They always look better with more stripes.

Congratulations on the new ride.

Yeah this is a cheap mod since you don't really need to push the pedal all the way to the floor, and having it engage right as you let up is much more enjoyable to me.
