This is the connector from the evap purge valve on a 2016 1.5l Cooper hardtop. It's got me stumped... how can I remove it? That gray piece looks like a removable locking tab, but it doesn't want to come out. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Okay, I got it. For those who encounter this same thing, the tab in the black piece pries up very slightly, enough to let the gray tab slide out. But it doesn't come all the way out. When it stops, stop forcing it. Then you can press down the gray tab to release the connector. A little ridiculous.
