I'm picking up an 05 JCW that's missing the rear upper portion of the seat. I can find R56 seats a little cheaper than the R50/53 and they look a little nicer. Just not sure if they actually fit. They look the same but you know how that goes. Searching I can only find people swapping the fronts.

 

You have to change the center bracket and the holes in the side of the car ..... But they can be adapted.

 

Appreciate the responses. I ended up talking somebody down on the original style seats so it ended up being cheaper just to stick with the set that matched the bottoms I already had. That being said the fronts aren't the most comfortable so I might be replacing them at some point. What are the most comfortable sporty seats? The seat backs on mine seem a little flat and were hurting my lower back after about 4 hours of driving.
