Comments Please! Is it time to get another Mini?

Hi all:
Been awhile since I've checked in. I've owned 2 Mini's - 2003 Base Coupe now I have a 2009 Clubman. The car has 92K on it, kept up with maintenance, new spark plugs and head gasket. It needs to have its accessory belt replaced. My brother gave me an accessory belt for Xmas (true motorhead) and told me he'd install it. Still waiting.......
About a month ago, I hit a major pothole that bent the wheel, trashed the right front tire. Got a new wheel installed and had it checked to make sure any of the steering/axle were compromised. Fortunately, it was just the wheel and tire. Total cost was under $500.
When I talked to my brother later in the week, he told me that I need to start looking for a new car since my car is 10 yrs old. (BTW, brother gets a new car every couple years).
I disagreed with him - the mechanic I use/trust said outside the accessory belt, the car was in good shape mechanically.
I'm retired, work about 20 hrs. a week and car gets both highway and suburban driving - it takes 12 minutes to get to my office and I do some highway driving on weekends, usually putting on about 200 miles/weekly. I've been looking online for pricing for a used Mini's 2016 to 2018. I do want the cold weather pkg and moon roof and hoping no more than 20K miles on the car, everything else I'm flexible with.
So Mini Fans,I'd really like some feedback. Keep "Clubby"and keep driving until I he's totally worn out (I thought his BMW heritage may help with increased mileage or trade him in for a newer model?
All comments will be appreciated!

At the rate you are putting mileage on I'd expect that you have another 5-7 years of life left in that car. But, it''s the N14 engine right? So, you might need the timing chain repair soon even with proper maintenance. As well as other common N14 repairs like HPFP, valve blast, etc. But, even with paying for that it's still less expensive to keep it and do major repairs than replace the car.

Personally, I'd wait another 2-3 years and let the prices of the 3rd Gen cars you are looking at go down a bit more. But, I'm only looking at it from cost. If you want a 3rd gen then emotion may make a big difference as well.

I replied to your comment on another post, but I would recommend you find a better advisor. Your brother is not helping you any.

I haven't read all the details on your Clubman, but it sounds like you have a pretty solid car.
