What is difference between cheap code reader and high price tool ?

I found it from amazon

That price is big difference,how to choose it ?

The cheap one is not MINI specific; I wonder if it even works on our cars. Anybody tried it?

I haven't had a lot of luck recently. I got the
Vgate product Vgate product
to work, but only with Bimmercode and Bimmerlink apps. I tried the
Veepeak product Veepeak product
, but couldn't get any of the scan software apps to find it. Both are bluetooth devices and I'm using IOS. Very finicky...

I'm sorry to hear that,you may try the scanner tool with cable.
