Short block ?

I've been searching the web for a short block for my '04 non S Mini. This has popped up a few times, seems like a good deal but why does it say Mopar on it? The add says it's the correct motor for my car. I'm new to Minis so are the motors made by Mopar?

Years ago someone explained to me that "Mopar" was an acronym for "Most Original Parts Replaced."

I might have that wrong though.... :-)
