Has anybody rigged up something to cover the center console control **** and panel, to prevent extraneous button presses?

My "stuff" (purse, etc) sits on the passenger seat, but when I need to get something out, I pull it closer to me and it sits on the buttons and presses a button! Ditto with a bag of fast food - it changes my setting. And my dog walking around, wanting in my arms, no, wanting out again -- she steps on the buttons too. I need a cover for the **** and buttons!

And no, there's no room on my lap for these objects, cuz I have short arms and the steering wheel is right there.

 

Which car, the 2017? Have you tried posting in the correct Gen section?

 

Yeah, the 2017. I couldn't find find an area under "Gen 3" that was general enough to get attention. They're all specific to ... something else!

[ oh, and my cars are sequential, not parallel. I only have the last one in the list at the moment. Guess I could remove the others, if that's the standard of practice here. ]

 

Could try the Countryman, Modifications, Interior/Exterior
