Opinions please.

Now that I have everything sorted out with the wheels, I looked at the front of my car today and the chrome headlights stuck out like a sore thumb. My first thought was that I should do the joey mod, but I've done it twice before and ended up regretting it for one reason or another.

My options are:
1. Leave them as is
2. Joey mod - black out everything
3. Joey mod - leave the chrome ring
4. Joey mod - paint chrome ring body color or bronze to match the wheels

What's everyone think?

I'd also like to get a JCW front bumper in the near future.

(Not the best picture of my car)

I would maybe joey mod the head lights. Looks like you have xenons. If you had halogens it would be an easy sway to the helix blackout headlights. Spyder is the only brand with xenon to xenon swaps that would loose some chrome.

I had the JCW bumper on my R56 and now have it one my R58. I prefer it over the S bumper, but that's what I liked.

Nice looking car.

I would blackout the belt line, but I would bronze the door handles and the fender (wing) inserts.

The JCW Area bumper I think is always a good choice.

Motor On!

Yes I do have the xenons, it's a little hard to tell from the photo.

I keep looking for the bumper hoping one will show up here or on ebay or something. The shipping costs are a little hard to swallow through the vendors.

A Mini and Goldilocks have a little in common. There are so many aftermarket options and with your car being a little older you can pick up used parts as well meaning you can make it "just right" for you.

For me, some black stripes on the hood would look good.

Have you considered Lamin-X as a temporary mod/option ?
Maybe just their lightest tint ?
Then paint the trim ring chili red to match body color.

My last R56 had body color trim, I like that idea but I want to do something different this time. I bought some lamin-x tint for the tail lights, I should have enough left over to see what it looks like on the headlights.

No haha, but it is fun to drive. Has a B18C in it.

I like the idea of black stripes.
