it happened right a way at the stop sign i push gas pedal and car didint move, no unusual sounds no ratlle no shaking nothing, everything supposed to be normal but car doest move:/
when i change the gears it shows current possision on the gear **** but it remains in neutral i mean when its in D/R/P its still moves when i push it. car starts,shifts,no error lights but wont engage in the gear
i checked linkage it was ok
any ideas???

 

How many miles on the tranmission and was the fluid ever changed? What year is the car and is it a regular Cooper, or an S? Also, hooking up an OBD2 scanner to read any error codes might help diagnose the issue.

i cheked with obd2 and no codes, oil never been changed before
