M7: Buyer be ware!

This company has gone down the tubes ever since it went under new ownership!
They suck at customer support and will not warranty any of their parts! I for one will never buy from them again!!

Strut Brace Strut Bar

Sorry to hear of the difficulties. What year and make, and will one of these strut braces meet your needs?

Why not have the part delivered at work, then?

I work at a location that does not allow shipments, but it does not matter I've not had to be home to sign for something in like 5 years and I'm not about to start that crap again

I ordered a OCC from them (It's absolute garbage, Catches nothing and doesn't fit like it should) and they say that in order for something to be delivered a signature is required but this is untrue. It was left at my door like every other package I've ordered in the passed few years.

Back when they required signatures more often, if I new something was coming I would leave a note on my door saying "OK to deliver without a signature." And I would sign the note. Worked every time. They would see the note and leave the package on my doorstep.
Hope this helps!

The signature thing is to protect them. Assuming the UPS man left it there and it "somehow" went missing. You and most people would want to hold either UPS or M7 liable for it.. They have probably been burnt a few times and now are trying to protect against this happening..

Several places are doing this now, even with a ups/FedEx account you can electronically sign for most packages that require a signature, but that wasn't available.

Exactly.....OP, and others having the shipping issue.....I would have a nice conversation PRIOR to placing my order, and explain to M7 your requested shipping method. Tell them that you want it shipped with No Signature Required, and they can note that to your order, holding YOU responsible if anything goes missing because it was delivered without your signature, at your request.

When a retailer ships through UPS, Fedex, etc., they have the option of No Signature Required, or Signature Required. They obviously want to protect themselves, and you at the same time.

It's a real shame to hear about M7. My car, LORDVDR, is one of their sponsored vehicles. I've had only good experiences with them over the years. I know one of their main sales people has left to do other things, wasn't aware that the situation had become dire.

I was looking at getting a few things from them recently. They were fairly unresponsive and didn't seem to want my business so I figured I could just spend elsewhere.

When the 1st Gen came out, they were really doing some great work... they were coming out with some great quality products that were pretty competitive in terms of price and quality. I'm glad they were able to grow as a company, but I wonder if they've gotten too big for their britches... so to speak. They seem over-priced now with their own products. It seems like they're just moving into just being a retail establishment now as opposed to being a manufacturer.

I'm glad they adapted, but I think that their price-point kinda shot themselves in the foot because there are other more viable options from other manufacturers for much less.

I have their OCC. Doesn't seem bad but it's my first one so I don't have something to compare to.

everything I've ever gotten from them has been good so far. The only issue i've had was that they sent me the wrong front sway bar awhile back...i still have to return it. Not the easiest thing to return in a box. lol

I have it and there's far better options out there for the same price point. The M7 OCC does absolutely nothing compared to baffled catch cans. One is better off buying the 20$ CC's off of ebay. I had to modify it to actually function as an oil air separator should.
