Brand New Leftover 15

I have been tracking a brand new leftover 2015 Cooper with less then a 100 miles on it. The cars is pretty much loaded, maybe with to much stuff with an MSRP of 32k and I have gotten the dealership to take off 6.5k on the MSRP. Do you feel like this is a good deal or could I do better? It is the end of the month and this car is coming close to being almost 2 years old.

Thanks in advance for the help!

we picked up just such an orphan in June ... a 15 Roadster that the dealer had in inventory for over a year

we got a little better than 20% off sticker ($32k+) and they waived the 'dealer add ons' that had increased the sticker higher still .....

found it on the web, called to verify web price then drove a wee bit to make our deal which had been discussed .... they stuck by what they'd said they'd do and the car was fine. A bit dusty but OK.

end of the month and an orphan .... you are in a good position ... you don't mention where you are so your deal isn't bad. We had 3 MINI dealers within the radius of the one we bought from so there was a lil bargaining room as they all had at least 1 roadster orphan on the lot. This was the only S manual.

{spousal unit woke up one morning and decided she had to have a roadster ..... 72 hours later, done deal}

Sounds like a good deal, may wish to try for Capt.'s 20% off figure, and/or check Truecar values online for similar makes and models in your zip code area to see what they sold for. Please keep us posted!

20% of 32k is 6400.00 seems like 6500 is already a pretty good deal.

Wish I could find those kind of deals, our low competitive market is usually 10% off of slow sellers.

as long as the dealer does not try to add "dealer added options MINI won't let us show"

WHAT???????

(I got dealer to drop ALL these)

and excessive processing fees

aka how do you compute 20%

you are there .......
