Low tire pressure light won't go off? 2013 mini cooper
Low tire pressure light won't go off? 2013 mini cooper
After going on vacation our 2013 mini cooper sat idle in the hot sun for a week.
Now we are getting a low tire message on all 4 tires. I added air to approx 35 psi to all 4 tires yet the idiot light remains on, even after driving the car for 10 miles. Does the sensor just go bad or is it something else. These are new (non flat) conventional tires.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.

did you try resetting the system?
you mention the tires are new, a system reset is required when a tire is changed, or pressure corrected.
this is done thru the left stalk as are most other on board computer functions ...
see the TPM system description in your owner's manual . . .
and/or you COULD have a sensor go bad - usually cuz of a bad battery ... but try the reset first ....
