Hey guys. I'm pretty new to the MINI scene and I was wondering if anyone knew any good tuners or mechanics around NYC to help me mod my car. I drive an 04 MCS with 45,000 miles on it. The only mod i have on it is a CAI. I'm planning on getting a 15% pulley, exhaust and hopefully an RMW tune. Also, any suggestions on mods would also be great. Thanks guys!

OK. Mods are relatively easy on the R53 and almost any competent shop that has worked on Mini's can do everything including the pulley. I am not sure if you are looking for power or handling. You should plan for a sway bar in the rear at least. Larger injectors is a half hour job and simple if you want those too before the tune.
This said, I am not sure who to go to in Queens (I grew up in Rosedale) but for the tune you should go to Helix in Philly. They are the experts and can do the tune in a day and I guarantee you'll have a great day if that is what you choose to do.
