R57 2010 Convertible.... Turbo?!
R57 2010 Convertible.... Turbo?!
Hi Folks,
Has anyone actually executed on, or investigated getting a turbo into the R57 Convertible? I'm about to embark on the performance side of the mini, and the first thing I think of is turbo. Potentially air-intakes, exhaust system etc.
Any thoughts, or experiences? (Or simple 'dont do it!')
Cheers!

The S model has a turbo. I guess you mean adding a turbo to a non-S R57? It is not easy to do properly, notably the ECU programming. If you feel it lacks power, trade it in for an S. For more performance from a non-S, concentrate on suspension, wheels, and tires.

Yea, thats my guess R57 MINI Cooper ( NON S ) to turbo. Be much easier to by and R57 S.
Post up a pic. Maybe a bigger turbo is what OP wants if they have an S ?
