Well unfortunately the tire place I used COMPLETELY hosed one of the brand new wheels you sent me. very large gouges in a dozen locations along the back side of one rim. A couple were an eigth of an inch deep. Granted, its the back side, but I was pissed. I was very polite, but very explicit that I expected better, and they had better make me whole, as the wheels were brand new when I dropped them off. The manager agreed, asked where I got the wheel, and has promised that they would buy a new one and get the tire mounted. No eta on that yet, but expect to hear timorrow.

Supposedly one tech worked on that one, while another did the other 3 which were perfect. I'm guessing the tech tried to hide the mess and didn't tell anyone until I got them, but who knows what really occured. Thankful I didn't have them put them on the car, or I wouldn't have seen it for several months.


So you might be shipping a single wheel to Mentor ohio shortly. I will update as things progress.

Sorry to hear about the tire shop damaging the wheel. When you get it cleaned up post some pics. Hope you can get it done right this time, sounds like you will.

 

Hopefully. They called today and asked me to order another one from you guys, as they didn't have an "Account" with you. (seems an odd thing to require, but what do I know, I guess its an accounts payable/receivable kind of thing) They will reimburse me via check they say. I ordered it moments ago so here is hoping.
