I purchased a 2015 Cooper S hardtop in November. I have 1600 miles on it, and I noticed that the steering is squeaky/creaky when it's cold as if it's rubbing on a boot or something. It sounds like an old squeaky bed frame. Anyone else have this happening? It only happens when it's below 40 degrees outside. I talked to a service advisor but haven't taken it in yet. The local dealer hasn't heard of this issue yet.
