two vehicles driving too fast for the conditions?

one unable to handle the wet and another following too close and pushing the other?

I believe this breaks the rules of this site . . .

ummm... not trying to be rude here but, says the one with an inappropriate name? Too fast for conditions? following too close? what when we were on the exit ramp or the part where I caught him in the corner, because when I got close I was already on the brakes. Also, unlike most southern states (I lived in Texas for 8 months) the road texture and build is vastly different because of the rain and snow we experience. I was no where near losing grip, if this scares you I am sorry but I am not a novice at driving. I've lived in a snow filled wonderland for 17 years. Yes, I am 19. No, I am not inexperienced. I've been driving legally for over 3 years, and road/dirt racing from 10-14 years old. Last thing, There were no laws broken here (by me) so I see no problem with this.

I think the Mini makes a slightly better driver out of a mediocre one. A Mustang makes a mediocre driver's ego on par with a highly skilled professional race driver. Sadly, the skills don't come with it.

It seems the Mustang driver was blinded by your bright lights and couldn't see the road ahead in the *corner*. So you say you have racing experience? If so, you would not have even given this incident a second thought, as I won't, yet you were entertained? Hmmm...

And so I bow out of this conversation. Good day to you.

Like a sir! Yes, the mini gives some good confidence with little body roll and tyres help if you cough up the right money.

Anyways, if you cannot laugh on or off road then you clearly need to adjust your humor. It doesn't matter if you have experience or not a funny situation is funny. I found it amusing because it was like a part two of the 1970's minis vs' mustangs.

I don't know if "YES you are 19" is some sort of insult, but that being that, anyone can say they are a captain so calm down. Anyone who says they don't have a dirty mind is lying, so in any situation you can assume what you want. And congrats for being on here "for a few thousand posts".

MINIs handle better than a Mustang in a corner, but straight line a Mustang is better?

STOP THE PRESSES!!!!

This thread reminds me of the old saying: One must be young and dumb before they can be old and wise.

In order to be "old and wise" you must first SURVIVE being "young and dumb".

I know it is a bit of an oxymoron, but... Thank God for Darwinism.

Dang, this thread sure went south fast. I rather enjoyed the video, I own both a Mustang and MCS. The MCS definitely is faster around corners (the Mustang is not too bad, though about 1k lbs heavier), the HP to weight ratio seems to be a bit in the Mini favor. Wife drives the Mini, Mustang is mine. While I enjoy driving the Mini from time to time, still enjoy good old American muscle a bit more..

I like the fact that people are getting mad over this simple video that means nothing. It is just a video, I really don't care if you like it or not. The quote of "to be old and wise, one must first be young and dumb" absolutely has nothing to do with this. If you are going on quotes you should listen to your mother. "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything"

Thank you for being the only one who wasn't mean for no apparent reason.

Yeah, the mini does have a better power to weight depending what mustang you choose. I do miss straight line power though... I had a fusion with 300HP/300lbft AWD sooo fun to just to sit at a light and floor it. The thing I miss the most is yes the sleeper part was awesome, but just being thrown into the seat was awesome.

I plan to run my mini into the ground depending how she acts. So far absolutely beautiful, but if she slips up I'm trading her in for maybe a focus ST or a Scoobaru WRX 5 door :3

Darwinism is clearly in effect here with me owning a $10,000 car as my first car at the age of 19 with still lots of money in the bank, working making 15/hour + tips, going to college and can outsmart most everyone in contact with, not to mention several years as a robotics team captain with responsibilities for both engineering a robot and programming it and football captain of a state finalist team.
CLEARLY I should die.

Thanks, and have a nice day.

The problem is that you're too overqualified to be on here. And way too modest. You might have to take your intellect somewhere else of you want it to be appreciated.

So many replies, you can do multiple replies in one to not look like you are trying to gain some posts.
