6- That price is likely what they charge in the service department, which adds some nice profit there too.
7- They have to support the dealer parts department...
8- Did I mention the logo?
That's what I figured which is why I went with Red Line. I was thinking MAYBE it had some proprietary additive or formulation not available in the private marketplace. Good to know I didn't waste my money.
