For the Kids at heart...

This is for all the kids at heart here:

A bit off topic, but I thought it might pique the interest of some members. My wife and I are AFOL (Adult fans of lego), and collectors -- jargon from the Lego community

Lego is releasing a Classic Mini Cooper commemorative set. I've already got mine pre-ordered. The MINI comes in British Racing Green with white bonnet stripes, and really looks great! My wife suggested I order a second set, and find the appropriate parts in black to match Toaster.

Here's a link to the second part of a full review of the set which will give you a good idea details Lego got right:

Here's a Lego Designer Video of the set:

The set will be officially released August 1.

Looks to me they could actually package it as a Land Rover or a Jeep if they wanted to.

Yes very cool looking.
And about 12 other threads about its release plus videos too.
But it never gets old reading something more than once, how else can we begin to remember?

I searched for "Lego MINI" and couldn't find that many so I felt it was okay to start another one. Especially since the most recent one prior to mine was in the middle of June.

I'm sure we'll be hearing more at the official release. Maybe this is the first of a series?
